  1. Anybody have a blue book of gun values? I demand a fair asking price for a Ruger MKII. Model number is KMK678. Stainless, half-dozen 7/8" butt, adjustable sights, black constructed grips with silver and red Ruger emblem. 95%+.

    Thanks.

  2. I gave $200 for ane almost 8 months ago.

I sold it for $150 (traded to a dealer)

Yep, $200 is about right according to the Blue Volume if your estimate of wear is accurate.
  4. Thanks guys.

It'due south probably closer to 98%.
    I may proceed it.

  5. man, dont go making me upset at paying $375 for a used mk2 at a local gunshop! :fire:

nah i kids, i'm non upset. the average retail toll is around $320 (based on rugers cost and what i looked at on gunbroker) and when i factor in shipping/transfer fee the toll is most the same.

Yeah, information technology's really hard to pin downward the exact value of any firearm. Information technology all depends on location, supply and demand, condition of the firearm, etc. Blue Volume values are only guidelines, not difficult-and-fast prices.

Spackler, if the wearable is closer to 98% the BB value jumps to $270.

  7. The bottom line, I judge, is that something is but worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.

So I can but hope that somebody similar spiff comes forth.....

    But kidding.

In that location really isn't whatsoever wear on the affair at all. It belonged to my Dad. He had it to the range twice, and carried information technology in a nylon holster when walking in the woods.

  8. yeah yeah yeah, one born every minute, i know! :D

but the mkII i bought wont be resold. i love shooting it! havent tried it at any real distance however, only dinked around using the branches of bushes on the range at xv-xxx feet. was fun watching the branches jump back and forth when i got a hit!

i did shoot it on the target at vii yards the other solar day, wasnt trying for real accuracy, only trying to quell my tendancy to flinch. discovered i had a 1 one/ii inch grouping with the mk2 though!

I've gotone of the KMK678GCs, and it cost somewhere in the depression $300s used here in Cali. I encounter them on sale new at around $400ish, that primarilty cause it'south the full blown "government competition" model, hence the GC at the end of the KMK678GC. Simply if you're isn't the slabside but the i with the tapered barrel? Well hey, information technology's however selling in the $300 range for a new one.
If i happened to come across one of these at $200 I'd buy it.. lol... hell, used blued 22/45s are in the low $200s out here...

  11. The Marker 2 was bought froma gun store used in very good status for $200.00

I traded it back to them on a new 22/45. They allowed $150 on the trade and information technology price me $125 additional. The old Mark Two is in the case for $175 now.

    FYI

P.Due south. I never did really like the Mark Two (grip angle) I love the 22/45
